Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the remaining corona cases in the state will have to be eliminated soon through aggressive testing strategy, contact tracing and by creating micro-containment zones. Area specific strategy should be implemented where necessary. To make the state corona free by May 31, all the members of the Crisis Management Groups and the government staff should work in this direction with full vigilance and awareness. All necessary measures should be taken to break the chain of infection and the house-to-house survey work under the Kill Corona campaign to identify the suspected corona cases should continue uninterrupted. Medicines should be given immediately to the affected persons and their condition should be monitored. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that if there is a need to give oxygen to the corona affected person, then it should be given in the hospital under the supervision of a doctor. The use of uncontrolled oxygen is causing damage to the lungs of patients. District collectors were instructed to keep an eye on it.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave these instructions in the review meeting of Covid-19 of Bhopal division. In this meeting organised through video conferencing from Bhopal Collectorate, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also addressed the block development level Crisis Management Committees of Bhopal division. Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, MLAs Shri Rameshwar Sharma and Smt. Krishna Gaur and Commissioner Bhopal Shri Kavindra Kiyawat were present in the meeting. Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary joined online.
Bhopal, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha and Rajgarh collectors gave presentations in the meeting about the arrangement of beds in government and private hospitals, arrangement of sampling, testing, positivity rate, management of infected patients and containment areas, management of oxygen, vaccination campaign, the number of patients benefitting from Ayushman Bharat Yojana and arrangements for the treatment of black fungus in medical colleges.
Life will gradually return to normal after May 31
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it is necessary to take continuous precautions after May 31. After May, life will return to normal in phases. People have to be motivated to adopt the necessary behaviors to prevent corona. For this, a massive public awareness campaign will be launched. It is necessary to raise public awareness about vaccination and to remove misconceptions regarding vaccines. District collectors should ensure that not a single vaccine is wasted.
Treatment of black fungus will also be provided at Vidisha Medical College
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that arrangements will be made to increase the number of beds in hospitals and to set up wards for children for the purpose of preparing for the third wave of Corona. Oxygen beds and ICU beds will be increased in hospitals. Arrangements are being made in medical colleges for black fungus treatment. Its arrangements will also be made in Vidisha Medical College.
State will be self-reliant in oxygen
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that activities will have to be started in every district to make the state self-reliant in oxygen. Oxygen plants and other arrangements are necessary in large hospitals. For this, subsidies on electricity and government grant will be arranged.
My District Corona Free District
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all the districts of Bhopal division should take the resolution of 'My district Corona free district' and everyone should make efforts in this direction. This achievement is possible only with the cooperation and team spirit of the people. At the review meeting, the Bhopal collector informed that 28 mobile testing teams are active for testing in Bhopal region. A Niramya Bhopal app has been developed to assist and guide patients, on which Yoga instructors, psychiatrists, physiotherapists and doctors can be contacted. Help desks have been set up. Where food and other arrangements are being made to help the patients and their families with the cooperation of Jan-Abhiyan Parishad and voluntary organisations. Cooperation of voluntary organisations is also being taken in the Kill Corona campaign.
Information about Corona medicines given through wall painting
The Rajgarh collector informed that the names of medicines used for corona positive patients have been displayed in the Gram Panchayat buildings by wall painting. This has increased awareness and has also led to increase in patients taking medicines. The Rajgarh Collector said that there have been many such cases in which the villagers were considering fever as typhoid or Motijhira, it turned out to be corona after testing. Immediate treatment of such patients has been started. Vidisha Collector informed that special efforts are being made to ensure that there is no overcrowding at ration shops and hand pumps.
