Adrija Jana is a Grade 12 Humanities student from Kolkata. She holds a world record for winning the highest number of honours in more than 20 different fields within a span of less than 2 years.
A versatile and passionately creative soul, Adrija loves to dabble in various new activities. In School, she holds multiple positions of responsibility which include being the head of the Student Council as the Student Secretary alongside the President, being one of the Chief Editors of the English Literary Department of the Editorial Board, as well as being the Core member of various clubs like Taarikh (History) and Veritas Corpus (Law). She was awarded the title of "Wizard and Ideator" in school in 2021.
A recently published poet, Writing, Music, Dancing, Spoken Word, Acting, Filmmaking, Event management, Research, Communications, Public Relations, Human Resource Management, public speaking, learning new languages, International Relations, Journalism and MUNning are some of her varied interests. She has been nationally/internationally recognised and holds awards in most of these fields.

Adrija's mother, Mrs. Manu Jana who is her mentor said, "In this pandemic, we have heard of many bravehearts striving to keep afloat and bring about a change in the society. ADRIJA JANA'S SPECIALITY
Adrija is proficient is three different languages, English, Hindi and Bengali, and a beginner in two other languages, Urdu and Mandarin. She can sing in all these five languages, and in addition, in Kashmiri and Telugu.
Both within and outside school, Adrija takes part in various activities. She has worked with more than 25 national and international youth organisations, Marketing and Content Writing Companies, as well as Journals and Magazines.
ADRIJA JANA'S UNIQUENESS
Adrija has been a research fellow at the International Socioeconomics laboratory in collaboration with Harvard as a part of the 2021 Summer Cohort. Her research group secured the best data analysis award. She has also completed a Filmmaking project with Youth Media Academy, California, and contributed to a policy symposium on Crimes Against Women organised by Girl Up International and Utpravan Youth Foundation, which in turn influenced government think tanks in policy making.
An active contributor to community and social service initiatives, Adrija embodies the very spirit of empathy and compassion. She has been a part of more than 10 NGOs worldwide. She has organised donation drives and fundraising campaign and has been especially active in helping mitigate the destruction caused by the Amphan cyclone in West Bengal. A Covid warrior, she has helped combat the Covid 19 pandemic at its peak in India by helping hundreds of victims get access to hospital beds, blood, oxygen cylinders, food home delivery and other resources.
A rising star in the world of social activism and active citizenship, Adrija is an inspiration and motivation for many others who wish to be able to contribute to their society.
