Chief Minister Shri Chouhan announced four percent reduction in VAT rate on petrol and diesel,Diesel in Bhopal Rs.90.95 paise and Petrol Rs.106.86 paise per liter


 

  MP: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that in spite of all the financial difficulties to give relief to the people of the state from inflation, the state government has decided to cut VAT rate on petrol and diesel by 4 percent. .It has also been decided to reduce the additional tax by Rs 1.5 per liter on diesel and Rs 2 per liter on petrol. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan released this message through the media from his residence.


 Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that with this decision, in addition to the relief given by the Central Government, there will be an additional reduction of Rs 7 per liter in the retail price of diesel and petrol. In the remaining months of this financial year i.e. till the month of March, there will be a decrease in the revenue of the state government by Rs. 1948 crore. People will get benefit of this. .With these decisions, where the retail price of diesel was Rs 107 90 paise per liter in Bhopal on 3 November 2021, it will come down to about 90 paise per liter on 5 November 2021. .Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the retail price of petrol in Bhopal was Rs 118 to 83 paise per liter on 3rd November, it will be around Rs 106 to 86 paise per liter on 5th November 2021.


 Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that there will definitely be a reduction in the treasury of the state going through financial crisis, but this decision has been taken with the aim of providing relief to the people
