Holi celebrated with zeal at Chief Minister’s residence

  Holi festival was celebrated with gusto at Chief Minister’s residence. Several citizens, activists and media representatives also took part. Many Holi songs were presented on this occasion. Everyone was excited to present the dance on the beats of Dhol. Natural colors and gulal were used. The traditional Brij ki Holi with flowers was used to play holi. A cultural troupe from Mathura-Vrindavan (Uttar Pradesh) presented songs and dances.

  Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Holi is a festival of enthusiasm, gaiety, joy and fun. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that being the first Sevak of the state, he has resolved to include colours of happiness in the life of every citizen. The Chief Minister said that according to the resolution of Prime Minister Shri Modi, we should work together for the development of the state and the country. With the implementation of Mukhya Mantri Ladli Bahna Yojana, eligible women will get an amount of Rs 1000 every month. This year, on Holi itself, this scheme has also made the women sense the spirit of Diwali.

  Chief Minister Shri Chouhan extended greetings and best wishes to the citizens present on the occasion of the festival Holi. Everyone celebrated the festival with gaiety and joy by applying coluor and gulal on this occasion.

  Farmers-Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Shri Kamal Patel, MP Shri Vishnu Dutt Sharma, Shri Hitanand Sharma, Shri Darshan Singh of Kisan Sangathan, MLAs Shri Rampal Singh, Shri Rameshwar Sharma, Shri P.C. Sharma, former Mayor Shri Alok Sharma along with Shri Sumit Pachauri, office bearers of various organizations and a large number of citizens were present. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan's wife Smt. Sadhna Singh, sons Shri Kartikeya Singh and Shri Kunal Singh were also present.

  The songs presented in the Holi Milan programme included – ‘Aaj Brij Mein Holi Re Rasiya..., Rang Barse Bheege Chunarwali...., Aaj Na Chhodenge Bas Humjoli, Khelenge Hum Holi..., Holi Khele Raghuveera Awadh Mein.... .” Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also sang the regional folk song ‘Mori bahu hirani hai, e bhaiya mile to bata daiyo....’. Everyone joined in this song. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan accompanied by playing harmonium on other songs.
