Marathi songs in our dialect and title songs of Marathi serials are becoming very popular. The Maratha Moli duo who have composed the title songs and trending songs of some such popular serials are Kunal Bhagat and Karan Sawant. He was recently awarded 'Popular Title Geeta' for his serial 'Yogayogeshwar Jaishankar' at an award ceremony. Earlier he was honored with 'Best Title Song' award for 'Yogayogeshwar Jaishankar' serial at 'Big Marathi Entertainment' awards ceremony. Moreover, composer Kunal Karan has also received the nomination of 'Best Original Music with Lyrics' for the serial 'Band Baja Varat' at the 'Promax India' ceremony.
So far he has done Mahaminister, Kitchen Kallakar, Bus Bai Bus, Nava Gadi Nava Rajya, Band Baja Varat, Agam Agam Son-in-law What Are You Saying Mother-in-law? The 'title songs' of as many as 14 such serials have been composed.
Commenting on the awards, composer Kunal Karan says, "Getting the award for 'Best Title Song' and 'Popular Title Geeta' for the series 'Yogayogeshwar Jai Shankar' first at Big Marathi Entertainment and now Colors Marathi Awards is a dream come true for us. An artiste always wants that you The work you do should get a lot of love and applause from the audience. I am very happy that the audience is getting so much love today. After engineering, we both decided to do what we like. Today, neither of us regrets that decision."
He further says, "Since entering the music industry, our dreams have been high, our family has always stood behind us to fulfill those dreams. We would like to say to the newcomers who are making their debut in this field, do something with a lot of heart, you should be able to choose the right path in the field you work in. And one has to work hard, then the next step becomes very easy."
Further talking about the upcoming projects he said, "After composing the music for Planet Marathi's web series like Athang, we are now directing music for Hindi films and Hindi web series. Soon we will come up with some films and we hope that these projects will get a great response from you."
