NATIONAL: The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today launched a 'Special Crash-Course' program for the frontline workers of COVID-19 through video conferencing. This training program will be conducted in 111 centers in 26 states. Under this initiative, about one lakh frontline personnel will be trained. Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, several other Union Ministers, State Ministers, experts and other stakeholders were present on the occasion.
Addressing the event, the Prime Minister said, " Namaste, my colleagues in the Union Cabinet, Mr. Mahendra Nath Pandey ji, RK Singh ji, all other senior ministers, all the young colleagues, professionals, other dignitaries and brothers and sisters involved in this program, Corona Today begins the next phase of an important campaign in the Great War against During the first wave of Corona, thousands of professionals in the country joined the skill development campaign. This course will be completed in two-three months, so these people will also be available for work immediately and as a trained assistant will give a lot of support to the present system, lighten their burden. Based on the demand of every state and union territory of the country, the country's top experts have designed the crash course. 6 new customized courses are being launched today. Be it general work related to nursing, home care, help in critical care, sample collection, medical technicians, training of new equipment, youth are being prepared for this. There will also be skilling of new youth and up-skilling of those who have already been trained in this type of work. With this campaign, our health sector's frontline force fighting Covid will also get new energy and will also facilitate our youth for new employment opportunities.

Today, the Skill India Mission is helping millions of youth every year in training them according to the needs of today. There was not much discussion in the country that this campaign of skill development has given great strength to the country in this time of Corona. Ever since the challenge of Corona came before us last year, the Ministry of Skill Development has played an important role in training lakhs of health workers across the country.
