Asmi Barman,an young artist from Malda,West Bengal created a new world record by completing 20 mini portraits in 12 hours just at the age of 18 which is remarkable indeed and her name successfully enters in the INKZOID Book Of World Records 2021.
ABOUT ASMI BARMAN
She is Asmi Barman an young artist of age 18.She is from Malda, West Bengal and everyone use to call her Asu.
She is currently studying in class 11 (science stream ) in The St. Xavier's School, Malda.
She likes to represent her thoughts, her feelings, her emotions through her drawings and writtings too.
She is a passionate artist and actually drawing is her passion ,her first love .
She has won 51prizes(7in annual sport's meet n 44 in drawing n 1in singing), she had also participated in one of the biggest exhibitions of Malda, known as 'Art Hut', and achieved the title, 'Artist Asmi Barman'. She has also won many prizes in 'Book Fair of Malda'(one of biggest fairs) n she is the winner of Inter-school drawing competition organised by 'Rotary club, Malda'.
But society believes that Drawing is nothing but a reason to waste your time.As they are artist they have to suffer with pain of regret, less importance than other talents, limited support, relative's taunt, discourage and many more.
Society also believes that as she is a girl , she can do nothing in the field of creation.
Artist is also known for their creation and creation is also a reason for evolution and it's a lil part of her dream to prove it... Itz has been 9months she is in writting field.
She is also a writer and a co-author. She is the artist head of 'Inkzoid Foundation[the best publication found by her brother from another mother n also her inspiration Durlav Sarkar(world record holder) ]', also the Challenging head of' Bleed Your Ink'(A community under Inkzoid as) , Founder of 'Inkzoid Artist'(A unit under Inkzoid Foundation) and also co-founder of 'Subhas Chandra Bose writing community' (a unit under Inkzoid foundation) and Photographer's spot(a page for photographers), core team member of an instagram page 'The Viber' and 'The Bong Impression' comprising of different categories like dancing, drawing, photography, etc etc, she is also a core team members of 'Hindi poetry group'(a unit under Inkzoid foundation) , also magistrate of artistry department of 'The Unfied Heritage'.She has reached such a height because of the support of her grandmother, Late Latika kumar Guha and her parents, Mr. Debashish Barman and Mrs. Sampa Barman (in creativity field), her beloved brother, Durlav Sarkar(in writing field).
She specially wants to thank her parents, her inspiration an her brother,( Durlav Sarkar), her besties, (Debarati Das and Debatri Agarwala), her school friends, her friends, brothers and sisters of writing industry for supporting her throughout her journey.
She likes to spend her time in studies, in improving her skills specially in drawing and in writting. She also likes to spend her leisure time in photography, in singing and also in editing videos.
