Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that new dimensions are being added every day in the communication sector. Concrete initiatives are being taken to provide its benefits to consumers. 5G telecom services are starting from Shri Mahakal Lok in Ujjain this month. Apart from Indore and Bhopal, preparations are being made to start these services at other places of religious and spiritual importance. After reaching Mumbai today, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also extended an invitation to investors for the Global Investors Summit to be held in Indore in the month of January.
After a discussion with the officials of Reliance Jio in Mumbai, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that free Wi-Fi zones of 5G service would also be set up in Khajuraho, a world heritage site in Chhatarpur district and Bhedaghat, a tourist destination near Jabalpur. In Madhya Pradesh, While providing services in the communication sector , Reliance Jio is operating the Reliance Retail stores with more than 50 percent market share in Madhya Pradesh. Reliance Industries is engaged in textile business, chemicals, hydrocarbon exploration and financial services apart from telecommunication. The company’s business has expanded greatly in Madhya Pradesh.
Discussion held with investors
In a one-to-one discussion with investors in Mumbai, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan invited them for the Global Investors’ Summit to be held in January and discussed the possibilities of investment in the state. These mainly include Mahindra & Mahindra, Hindustan Unilever, BPCL, Chemerics Biotech, Symbiotech Pharma Lab, Gufic Biosciences and Piramal Group. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also attended the inaugural function of Infobeans Limited at Bombay Stock Exchange. He also held discussions with Pharma and Medical Devices Manufacturers.
Madhya Pradesh has an industry-friendly environment
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan told the investors that the Global Investors’ Summit, being held in Indore on January 11 and 12, would be very important for the industry. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan invited investors to attend this summit.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan told the investors that land bank of about 1.25 lakh acres area, 24 hours electricity, liberal policy to start your business in 30 days, skilled human resources, industrial peace, strong law and order are available in Madhya Pradesh. For Atmanirbhar Bharat, continuous work is being done in Madhya Pradesh focusing on the main pillars of self-reliance, infrastructure, good governance, health, education, economy and employment. As far as the textile policy is concerned, the state has a favourable environment for the readymade industry and many companies are working in the automobile sector as well. Infrastructural development that has taken place in Madhya Pradesh has benefited the industrial units. The task of providing employment to those needy has become easy in the state. Initially, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inaugurated the Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh program at Taj Residence by lighting a lamp. Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Minister Shri Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon and senior officials of M.P, various industrialists and investors were present on the occasion.
